Education

"Let Your Voice Be Heard"

Education

Education plays a role in our daily life. We must be educated to perform necessary work and to be able to make good decisions.

Too many decisions about education get made be the federal government on a national level.

We are seeing our children educated to take a test rather than being tested on their education.

Our present education process raises the standards every year. How can we justify raising the standards every year when it is not everyone’s desire to have a masters degree? I feel it is our responsibility to ensure a quality education for the desires of the individual, rather than one standard for all.

I feel it would be much more beneficial to help identify the educational desires of the individual so we can assure a quality education in this area. This will provide a more focused education rather than a one size fits all approach. This is another benefit of having educational decisions made on the local level.

Education by itself does not have all the answers although focusing on education is part of my total comprehensive plan.

This plan which is led by economic development will use focused education that can provide better jobs which will offer the benefits of health care, and reduce the need of public assistance programs.
